Michigan Bishops Call for Greater Attention to Poor and Unemployed in State Budget Debate

LANSING (MCC) - On Monday, April 11, a letter signed by the seven diocesan bishops of Michigan was delivered to Governor Snyder, Democrat and Republican legislative leaders, as well as every member of the Legislature in an effort to urge Michigan's elected leaders to pay greater attention the needs of the poor and vulnerable population of this state.
